*CANCELLATION POLICY: Event attendee registration cancellations are accepted and refunds issued (less a $50 cancellation fee) if received prior to the Early Bird registration date. ♥ ICN Training: Basic Culinary Math for School Nutrition Professionals (6 hours)
Basic Culinary Math for School Nutrition Professionals is a 6-hour training. The goal of this training is to provide participants with the opportunity to review and practice basic culinary math skills, including the basic principles of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The remainder of the training will focus on other key skills such as measuring and converting measurements, scaling recipes, and calculating food costs.
♥ ServSafe
ORLA’s ServSafe Manager Training provides in-depth training, blending the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research and years of food sanitation training experience. Attendees learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. Study guide will be mailed to the address indicated on the registration form. You must register bey Feb. 2 to receive your study guide.
♥ SNA Credentialing Exam (SNS)
The SNS Credential is a mark of excellence and achievement that reflects what it takes to manage school nutrition programs in today’s challenging climate. The SNS Credentialing exam evaluates candidates’ knowledge and skills required to perform specific job activities related to managing or directing school nutrition programs. You must register and pay the exam fee using the SNA website.
♥ Ag Tour
The Oregon Nutrition and Dairy Council has once again kindly arranged a field trip! The tour bus will leave the Salem Convention Center at 8:30 Friday for a day of fun! First stop: Hazenberg Dairy in St. Paul. Second stop: Don Froylan Creamery in Salem. Third Stop: TBD. You will arrive back at Salem Convention Center at 2:30. in plenty of time for more education sessions. Lunch will be provided. attendance is limited to 20 people.

- Raffle Prizes: We like to host a raffle at the end of the day on Saturday

OSNA Farm to Child Nutrition Program Showcase Registration 2024: Due Feb. 8
Registration is now open for the 2024 Oregon Farm to CNP Showcase at the Oregon School Nutrition Association Food Show on Saturday March 16 at the Salem Convention Center.
The Showcase is a designated area in the Salem Convention Center in the atrium on the second floor. To exhibit in the Showcase you must be an Oregon farm or food business that sells Oregon produced and/or processed products that are suitable for school meal programs. Only Oregon produced or processed products will be highlighted during the showcase. The Oregon Department of Agriculture sponsors the Showcase, providing Oregon producers with a 65% discount.
Space is limited for this event. If you are an Oregon producer or business that sells products eligible for the Oregon Farm to School Procurement Grant you won’t want to miss this show.
