Under direct supervision, the Nutrition Services Lead Cook performs food prep, service and kitchen cleaning duties, and does related work as required. Decisions and determinations are based clearly on defined procedures or instructions or on well-defined rules and regulations. This person must interact in a professional manner with students, staff, and the public on a regular basis. The Nutrition Services Lead Cook works under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Supervisor.
