Portland Public Schools has a position available for a Nutrition Services Procurement Specialist who will provide complex and varied support in the procurement, receipt, distribution for supplies, materials, food, and related services for the Nutrition Services Department. Under general supervision, the specialist will perform a variety of specialized duties related to the procurement, receipt, distribution of food and related supplies, materials and services for Nutrition Services; develop, maintain and expand vendor relationships; forecast needs; and order and follow-up on activities to assure efficient, fiscally sound and timely purchases.

Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon is excited to open the eighth season of the Summer Meals Support Fund. Since 2009, the grant program has provided start-up and expansion grants to communities throughout Oregon, partnering with over 115 unique organizations. The $2,500 and $5,000 awards are available to new or growing summer meals sites and sponsors to support community-based programs in connecting more kids to summer nutrition and enrichment while school is out.
